Crossroads. A land of possibilities, set on an island in the middle of a ring of islands, each separated by magic from the other, with Crossroads the port in between. Legend tells of a time before Crossroads existed, when the Lord of the Abyss ruled the earth and the people were naught but slaves to its will. Demons too dark to imagine feasted on men, fouling the very land on which they stood and enslaving all life. It was a time of torment, a darkness from which rose a Champion, blessed by Providence to defeat the evil that ravaged the lands. Now, we live five centuries after that overthrow, but still in the subtle shadow of darkness and intrigues wrought in ages past and present.

Crossroads MUSH is an original-themed, medieval fantasy, text-based roleplaying game with a dedicated playerbase, friendly and helpful staff, and a world of mystery just waiting to be discovered. Incredibly newbie-friendly, new players to our game find themselves greeted immediately upon arrival and assisted by staff and other players in whatever way is necessary to allow them to dive right into the Empire of the Keeper. We offer a world where magic, politics, intrigue, and ancient worlds collide, providing an immersive fantasy environment that has our players and staff hopelessly addicted. We value intelligent and reality-based roleplay, well-rounded characters with flaws, and the contributions made by each individual player to enhance and grow our RP world.

There are not words to express how much her tragic loss has affected us all. The staff of Crossroads hereby dedicates our game to Loki, whose vision brought it forth from the æther and made it a home for so many people. Loki, you are missed. We love you.
