Doyle's first exposure to the world of MU*ing evolved from a love of text adventure games. Growing bored one day, he found an online version called Avalon, and stayed there for a considerable time, paying via postal order for months until finally he got annoyed with being constantly killed. There followed a few stints in places such as Aalynor's Nexus, until he took a break until college... at which time he discovered a MUD called Achaea, where he spent a good three years and rather too much money on his character, running guilds, cities, orders until finally getting a spot as a god (admin, coder, builder etc) at the same company's new MUD, Imperian. Where he has happily been for a long while, but where he felt the lack of RP, MUSHing in his spare time until he was recruited by a friend to play an abandoned character. Falling in love with it, he's stayed ever since and is now a happy Admin and Newbie guide.
